The LEF-5 master intercom can be mounted on a desktop or wall. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the unit in your desired location. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and allows for proper cable routing.

The LEF-5 requires hardwired connections to other intercom units and a power supply. Each intercom in the system must be connected to an Aiphone RY-PA relay (sold separately) to enable door access control (e.g., electric strike) and integration with other devices like CCTV cameras or lights.
- Kaputelefon csatlakozások: Connect the LEF-5 to Aiphone LAF and LEF Series master intercoms or LA, LE, and LS Series door and sub-master intercoms. Refer to the wiring diagrams provided with your specific system components for correct connections.
- Door Strike Connection: An Aiphone RY-PA relay (sold separately) is required to connect an electric strike (sold separately) for remote door access control.

The system is powered by a 12V power supply. An Aiphone PS-1225UL 12V power supply (sold separately) is recommended. Ensure the power supply is correctly connected according to the wiring instructions before operation.

- Identify the desired intercom unit (door, sub-master, or master) you wish to call.
- Press the corresponding numbered button (L1, L2, 3, 4, or 5) on the LEF-5 unit. An LED indicator above the button will illuminate.

When a call is received from a sub-master intercom, a momentary chime will sound, and the corresponding LED indicator above the selectable call button will illuminate for approximately 20 seconds.

To remotely unlock a door connected to the system (requires Aiphone RY-PA relay and electric strike), press the ZÁR button during a conversation with the door intercom.

Listening Function

Hibaelhárítás
