1. Bevezetés

Thank you for choosing the Riokko YM119 OBD2 Scanner. This device is designed to assist vehicle owners and technicians in diagnosing engine-related issues by reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), viewing live data, and performing various diagnostic tests on OBDII/EOBD compliant vehicles manufactured since 1996.

Always read and understand all safety messages and instructions in this manual before operating the scanner. Failure to do so may result in injury or damage to the scanner or vehicle.

Scanner Components:

  • Color Display Screen: Displays menu options, diagnostic data, and results.

4. Beállítás

The Riokko YM119 scanner is designed for quick and easy setup. No batteries are required as it draws power directly from the vehicle's OBDII port.

  1. Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC). The DLC is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for the exact location if you cannot find it.
  2. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the OFF position.
  3. Firmly plug the scanner's OBDII connector into the vehicle's DLC.
  4. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the ON position (engine off). The scanner will automatically power on and display the main menu.

Note: If the scanner does not power on, ensure the connection is secure and check the vehicle's fuse for the OBDII port.

Once the scanner is connected and powered on, you can navigate through the main menu using the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, OK, and EXIT buttons.

5.1. Diagnosis Menu

From the main menu, select 'Diagnosis' and press OK to enter the diagnostic functions.

  • Olvasási kódok:

    This function reads the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU). These codes indicate specific issues detected by the vehicle's onboard diagnostic system.

    1. Select 'Read Codes' and press OK.
    2. The scanner will display any stored Pending, Confirmed, or Permanent DTCs.
    3. Use UP/DOWN to scroll through codes if multiple are present.

    1. Select 'Erase Codes' and press OK.

    1. Select 'Live PCM Data' and press OK.

  1. From the main menu, select 'Battery' or press the 'BAT' button.
